Being a good DJ does not help people like us one bit if the client thata�?s paying the bill restricts the DJ to playing certain genres of music.
Being a great DJ means a�?readinga�? the crowd and adapting to their taste in music. Having the crowd have a great time, but still a�?work thema�? between going to their tables or the bar for a well-deserved break without loosing them out the doorway.
Does this make sense?
WE HAVE BEEN IN THE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY FOR 17 YEARS, AND HAVE WITNESSED A NUMBER OF FUNCTIONS BEING A TOTAL DISASTER BECAUSE OF THE WRONG CHOICEOF MUSIC, OR THE INCORRECT VOLUME OF THE SOUND.
